Hm, that was yummy :)
A creepy little buffet of horror tales: quick, punchy, and full of twists I didn’t always see coming. Some stories were oddly funny, some just plain dark, and a few left me wanting more (in a good way). Not every story was my favorite, but the pacing kept me turning pages. If you like horror bites with classic vibes and strange monsters, this’ll hit the spot.

From the first story to the last story in the book the Author manages to hold your attention. Imaginative, descriptive storytelling help you to really see the characters as they stumble towards danger. More than a few twists that will have you questioning your assumptions on how it's all going to end. Definitely recommend for readers of all ages!

Every story in this book will surprise you! I love horror and I love to read. Every movie I watch or story I read nowadays I figure out the plot pretty early on. It becomes a bore for me and I end up reading or watching things in chunks.
When I started this book I honestly expected it to be the same, I was pleasantly surprised! I found myself really being pulled into the stories and when outcome after outcome came that I didn’t foresee I found myself verbally exclaiming my shock.
Each story made me want another. I wanted to finish the whole book, at the same time I didn’t! When I got the the last page I let out a verbal sigh that I could not start the next story. Do yourself a favor and check this one out.

Quick-Paced and Entertaining Read

This is an interesting short story collection. The tales are short and fast-paced. At times, I could see the endings and twists coming, others, not so much. They don’t always provide satisfying endings, and sometimes, they end abruptly, but for some reason, I don’t mind them. The stories feel classic from the way they are told and unfolded, which feels like narration. They never dwell too long on the characters and plots, and this works fine for short stories.
I enjoyed the stories. Some are not my cup of tea, but they’re easy to read and still provide some entertaining value. They are engaging, some are unintentionally funny, and there are snippets of real-life facts. My favorite story is Life Imitating Art.

If you enjoy a quick-paced, creative read without the need to feel attached to the characters, this is the book for you.
