Mob Rules (Blood Brothers Saga Book 2)
About
The underworld just got darker.
The streets run red with blood—and it’s not just from gang wars.
Federal agent Chance Murdoch has kept his true nature hidden for nearly a century. But when a bombing exposes his monstrous secret, the war between man and monster is no longer covert. Chance is a moon wolf—a werewolf sworn to protect humanity from supernatural threats.
Now, his own brother, Luke Murdoch, a seductive and ruthless vampire, is building an undead empire by taking over Chicago’s criminal underworld. With mob bosses turning into vampires, zombies walking the streets, and necromancy reanimating old enemies, the city teeters on the edge of damnation.
To stop Luke, Chance must ally with deadly dhampir warriors, a guilt-ridden werewolf doctor, and a young federal agent unprepared for the darkness he’s about to face.
Bullets won't be enough.
This time, it’s war... and the monsters are winning

Another great read from Joey Webb. Could not put it down unless I absolutely had to. This sequel is set in modern time Chicago and its a nice blend of different creatures mixed with the mob. Must read book 1 first. Both are worth the read!!! Can't wait for the next installment.

As a second book in a series this one does not disappoint. As any good writer of a series should, you are quickly reminded of the characters you felt some kind of connection with in book one as the scene is set for their next big moment in life. In this book you get to see different a facet of the same characters from before. There are of course some new characters to connect with as well.As this author as proven he is full of surprises and this book is no exception to that rule. The complexities this book adds to the story you knew from book one is outstanding! So things you never thought would happen, will! Prepare for your jaw to actually drop and if you audibly says “Whaaaa!” or emotionally yelling “No!” at a surprising detail, just know fellow reader, you are not alone!
This book is just as hard to put down as book one. It draws you in, it makes you want to know more. You just have to know what happens next. If you choose to read it as a stand alone book, you could, but you would be cheating yourself out of an incredible story from book one. I highly recommend you read book one and book two! Now I anxiously await book 3 to arrive!
